I have worked professionally in many styles of music and my
expertise is the result of many years of playing and
I started playing guitar at the age of 11 in Great Britain
when the guitar was just starting to be explored in Rock
and Roll music. At that time there were no guitar books to
teach you how Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, David
etc. played there guitar solo’s, you just had to try and
copy them from the vinyl record which was hard and not
This as it turns out was the best thing to happen to me
because I trained my ears
at an early age to recognise different keys, chords and
scales. This self taught form of study does not exist these
days, people rely more on tablature which helps a little
but not a lot.
My guitar method is designed to share with my students the
important and most useful tools I have picked up over the
years. These tools will enable you to play freely over the
whole neck of the guitar in different musical situations.
You’ll never feel out of place in any musical jam!
Finallly I have discovered over many years of study and
playing that you can be a good guitar player with a little
knowledge but you can be a great player with just a whole
lot more knowledge!

"PLAY GUITAR WITH FREEDOM"
Guitar players use Major and Minor pentatonic
scales plus the Blues scales more than any other
For this reason alone, having a book that shows you
in clear detail every position for every scale
pattern in every key up the neck of the guitar is
These reference books bring you just that, plus it
will make a huge difference to not only how you
view the neck of the guitar but also in the way you
Believe me as a teacher I see these scales work
